Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident Tuesday on Oklahoma Salem Road in Brady Township. Gerald L. Garcia, 48, of DuBois was traveling north and approaching the intersection with Barr Road. A garbage truck entered the roadway from Barr Road, and Garcia overreached and swerved to the right, losing control and exiting the roadway via the east berm. His vehicle crossed over Barr Road, traveled into a wooded area and impacted a tree. Garcia was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing his seatbelt. State police were assisted at the scene by Brady Township Ambulance and Brady Township Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.
