Police Report: Ridgway PSP

An incident of burglary occurred sometime between Aug. 16 and Wednesday on Wilcox Road in Jones Township. During the incident, someone removed numerous hand tools, floor jacks and other tools that belonged to a known individual. The investigation is ongoing. An incident of simple assault occurred Aug. 16 on Thompson Road in Kersey. A 24-year-old Kersey man and the victim were involved in a verbal argument over their child. The victim attempted to leave, and while doing so, the man allegedly grabbed a rifle from the closet and blocked her way, so that she could not. Charges were presented to the district court. The man was arraigned and placed in the Elk County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
