The Clearfield Soccer Association recently hosted two alumni games for all former Clearfield High School and CSA soccer players.
The event raised more than $2,500 for the Mike Auman Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is presented annually to graduating seniors from the soccer community.
Mike was a long-time coach and mentor dedicated to both the CSA and the CHS Bison soccer program. The inaugural event saw 36 alumni return to the area and lace up the cleats for the cause.
It is anticipated that the event will be held annually on the Saturday of the Clearfield County Fair. Anyone interested in donating to the fund can find out more information on www.clearfieldsoccer.com.
