CURWENSVILLE – Area drivers are reminded that detours will be in place beginning Monday and continuing until early to mid-November for the River Street Bridge replacement in Curwensville.
Drivers should use caution when traveling into and through Curwensville and follow the detour signs. All traffic going to the south side of Curwensville will be detoured to the traffic light at State Street, then onto Filbert Street and out on Susquehanna Avenue.
Drivers are asked to be extra cautious in the early morning between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. when truck traffic leaving local Curwensville businesses will be at the highest.  Drivers are also reminded to be more alert for the return of school and bus traffic when the Curwensville School opens at the end of August.
