LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A fire has been ruled accidental after starting at 2:55 a.m. Friday at Fun Central and Destini’s Day 
Care at 14399 Clearfield – Shawville Hwy. in Lawrence Township, according to the state police at Ridgway.
The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal investigated the origin and cause of the fire. The fire originated on the second floor and was discovered when the fire alarm system activated. The sprinkler system also activated and contained the fire.
The fire damage is minimal; however, the water damage caused by the sprinkler system is substantial. The monetary damage estimate is not yet available, state police said.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Both Fun Central and Destini’s Day Care are closed as a result of the damage. It’s unclear how long they will remain closed for cleanup operations, state police said.
