SHAWVILLE – The body of a missing teenage boy has been recovered by river search crews at the Shawville Dam, according to Dave and Lynda McCracken of McCracken’s Canoe Sales and Rentals.
The boy went swimming and was sucked under the dam. He was found deceased, the McCracken’s said. River crews searched for approximately 12 hours last night and this morning. No further information is available at this time.
