- An incident of theft occurred Friday on Crossroads Boulevard in Beccaria Township. Someone took a bottle of Percocet pain pills from the victim and fled the scene. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of DUI occurred Friday on state Route 53 in Morris Township. State police stopped a 49-year-old Philipsburg woman for several traffic violations, and she was found to be intoxicated. She was subsequently arrested for DUI and processed at the Clearfield-based state police barracks. DUI and related charges were filed through the district court.
- An incident of DUI occurred Saturday on SR 53 in Decatur Township. State police stopped a 22-year-old Frenchville man for a traffic violation, and he was found to be intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and processed at the Clearfield-based state police barracks. DUI and related charges were filed through the district court.Â
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday on Carbide Road in Pike Township. Someone stole a Savage, .17-caliber rifle from the victim. The rifle is black with a camouflage sling, and it also has a scope on it. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- The investigation is continuing into a hit-and-run, alcohol-related accident that occurred Saturday on SR 153 near Interstate 80 in Pine Township. A 48-year-old Erie man pulled out from a dirt road and struck a vehicle driven by Jacob L. Polaski, 78, of Johnsonburg, who was traveling north. The man fled the scene and was located on a dirt road a short distance away. He was hiding in the woods near his vehicle and found to be highly intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for DUI and related offenses. Both the man and Polaski were wearing their seatbelts and not injured in the accident. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
- An incident of harassment occurred Sunday on Lumber Ally in Osceola Mills. During the incident, a 25-year-old Osceola Mills man allegedly engaged in a verbal and physical altercation with the victim. Charges are being filed through the district court.
- An incident of DUI occurred Sunday on SR 879 near Industrial Park Road in Lawrence Township. State police stopped a 22-year-old Clearfield woman for several traffic violations. At that time, state police discovered she was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested at the scene and processed at the Clearfield-based state police barracks. DUI and related charges were filed through the district court.
