State police investigated an incident of receiving stolen property that was reported Tuesday in a field behind a residence on Walnut Lane in Lanse. Someone stole several miscellaneous items from the victim and placed them in a plastic bag before putting them in the field. Morris-Cooper Regional police is now investigating the incident.
