DUBOIS – The Jefferson County Fair has launched its new Web site, www.jeffcofair.com. The new site offers visitors a unique, user-friendly experience with easier navigation, including imagery and video that relays the fair experience.
The fair chose Magnus Marketing of DuBois to complete the hands-on work of launching the new Web site. Magnus Marketing not only completely redesigned the Web site, but also updated and reorganized content, restructured the Web site’s links, implemented multi-media content, including video and connected the fair’s Facebook presence to the Web site.
Jessica Noland, VP, IT Consulting at Magnus Marketing said, “We wanted the Jefferson County Fair Web site to be easily navigable by visitors. Once on the site, visitors experience a real feel understanding of the fair, albeit virtual. To do this, we started from scratch, coding the back end in such a way that visitors can find links quickly, knowing that those links will instantaneously take them to their top areas of interest. We made the site more attractive too, by adding updated, relevant visuals and copy.”
Dave Love, business manager, Jefferson County Fair added, “We saw a real need to provide an excellent experience for people visiting our Web site. While the old site related relevant information, it didn’t necessarily excite our audiences. The new site offers something for everyone, whether they want to know about food and games, events including the Truck Pull or Demolition Derby or other happenings for children and adults.”
