Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

On Wednesday state police investigated an incident of attempted theft by unlawful taking that occurred on Sleepy Hollow Road in Rush Township. During the incident, state police encountered a vehicle pulled along the intersection of Sleepy Hollow Road and Incabod Lane with its lights turned off. Upon encountering its operator, state police found a second individual who was hiding near the passenger’s side front tire of the vehicle. Through the course of the investigation, state police determined the individuals were in the process of trying to steal the Incabod Road sign. Charges will be filed against both individuals.
