Police: Bank Bag with $10,500 taken in Worth Twp. Burglary

state-police-pa-300x225WORTH TOWNSHIP – The Philipsburg-based state police are investigating a burglary that took police July 3 on South Eagle Valley Road in Worth Township.

Someone forced entry into the victim’s residence through a dog door between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on the date in question. Once inside they located a bank bag that contained $10,500 in U.S. Currency and fled the scene with the money, state police said.
