A 39-year-old Greensburg man reported that while at a friend’s house Monday at Treasure Lake, his wallet went missing. The investigation is continuing.
Employees of Sweet Occasion Party Store reported that a 30-year-old Falls Creek woman wrote two bad checks to the store, and they have been unable to make contact with her in order to collect the money. Police located the woman and arranged for her to make payment.
Police responded to Dodd Road for a report of a missing 4-year-old boy on Monday. Upon arrival the boy had been located.
A couple reported that while crossing the roadway by Johnson Motors on Tuesday, a 45-year-old Mahaffey man was traveling too fast. He slammed on his brakes, causing his trailer to jackknife. The woman yelled at the man who then confronted the couple. After a verbal argument, they were all departing when the man exited his truck again. He was allegedly carrying a knife and threatening the couple. The man left but was pulled over in DuBois City. The investigation is continuing.
A 28-year-old Clearfield woman reported Tuesday that while working at the DuBois Nursing Home, someone took $80, a ring and a bottle of medication from her purse. The investigation is continuing.
On Tuesday a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Treasure Lake man pulled from a stop sign at the intersection of Midway and Commons Drive and into the path of a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Falls Creek woman. No injuries and moderate damage were reported.
On Tuesday a 31-year-old DuBois woman reported she was being harassed by a known couple that she owed money to. Police handled the situation without incident.
Police received a report about an all-terrain vehicle and a dirt bike riding around in the area of the Highland Street School on Tuesday. The vehicles were gone upon police arrival.
