- A domestic disturbance occurred Friday at a Sunset Drive residence. A 45-year-old New York woman who appeared intoxicated alleged that her 47-year-old boyfriend struck her in the face. Police also interviewed the man who was bleeding from scratches on his face, and he reported the couple had argued over leaving the bar. Police handled the situation without incident.
- On Friday a 46-year-old Brookville man reported that he was being threatened by an older man while he was at the Bobette Motel. Police located the 77-year-old Columbia, IL man at the Blinker Sheetz. He appeared to be disoriented. He told police he felt threatened by the younger man and went to Sheetz. The man had health issues and was taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center by family members.
- A 60-year-old Charleroi woman reported Friday that someone took her satellite dish from her camp site at Cayman Landing.
- A false alarm occurred Friday at a Treasure Lake residence.
- Two vehicles sustained minor damage after striking each other Friday in the Pilot parking lot. No injuries were reported.
- A Falls Creek man reported Friday that someone struck his daughter’s vehicle while it was parked in the Animal Hospital parking lot on Maple Avenue and then left the scene. Minor damage was reported.
- A 31-year-old Hungry Hollow Road woman reported Friday that she observed a vehicle, which had child occupants who weren’t wearing seat belts. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Maple Avenue.
- An alleged incident of assault occurred Friday at Cayman Landing. During the incident, a 32-year-old man allegedly slapped his 12-year-old step-daughter in the face after she threw water on him during a water fight. The man was cited for doing so, and the situation was handled without incident.
- A Circle Road resident reported Friday that her neighbors were setting off fireworks in her back yard. Police located the neighbors and handled the situation without incident.
- On Saturday someone took the posted detour signs from Game Lands and Lundgren roads. They also moved the stop signs. Police will be patrolling the area and anyone caught tampering with road closure, detour or stop signs that have temporarily placed due to the Clear Run Road closure will be charged.
- On Saturday police received a report about a 27-year-old Hungry Hollow Road man who was threatening to harm himself. Upon arrival at the residence, police located the man who agreed to be taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.
- On Saturday a 58-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported she’d parked along the berm in Treasure Lake. She told police a 46-year-old Treasure Lake man tampered with her car since it was parked on his property. Upon arrival the man became belligerent with police when told the car was legally parked. The situation was handled without incident.
- Police received a fireworks complaint Saturday from the area of Catherine Avenue. No one was found to be setting off fireworks.
- On Saturday police received a report about people who were possibly squatting in a vacant house on Quarry Avenue. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- A false alarm occurred Saturday at Old Navy.
- On Sunday police received a report of loud music on Loeb Avenue. The source of the music was found and the situation was handled without incident.
- A man reported Sunday that someone damaged his Harley while it was parked in the Warehouse parking lot. The investigation is continuing.
