A Keen Court Drive woman reported Wednesday that she’d received phone calls from an unknown person who doesn’t say anything.
On Wednesday a 41-year-old woman requested for police to check the welfare of her daughter who stays with her grandmother. The woman who does not have custody of the girl reported that the grandmother will not allow her speak to her daughter. Police checked on the girl and found her to be OK. The situation was handled without incident.
On Wednesday a 56-year-old Reynoldsville woman reported that when she went to pick up a prescription at Wal-Mart she was told it had been picked up by a woman who used her name and date of birth. The investigation is continuing at this time.
A 20-year-old DuBois woman reported Wednesday that she was being harassed by her 27-year-old ex-boyfriend. The investigation is continuing at this time.
Police received a report about the road closed barriers being moved off Clear Run Road. The barriers were put back by police. As a reminder, Clear Run Road is closed until further notice due to the flood damage, and police will be patrolling the area. If anyone is caught driving on the closed road, or moving the barriers, they will be cited.
A false alarm occurred Thursday at Hardware Specialties.
Police received a report about a man who had possibly passed out in the area of Murtland and Wilson avenues. Upon arrival police located a 56-year-old Tozier Avenue man who appeared disoriented. He refused treatment and was taken to a family member’s home.
Police received a report about four-wheelers that were trespassing on Sher De Lin Road. The four-wheelers were gone upon police arrival.
Police investigated a fireworks complaint Thursday on Circle Road after which no violations were found.
Someone threw a partially lit firework into a dumpster Thursday at Garden Grove. The dumpster was fully engulfed when police arrived at the scene, and the fire department was dispatched as a result. No injuries or damage were reported.
