Eldon A. Knepp, 77, of West Decatur died Monday, July 1, 2013 at his residence. Born June 2, 1936 in Graham Township, he was the son of the late Merle and Verda Emigh Knepp.
Mr. Knepp was affiliated with the Presbyterian faith. He was a 1953 graduate of the Philipsburg High School. He was a driver for Lansberry Trucking for 43 years. Mr. Knepp loved to hunt, fish and go mountain biking.
He married Rita Laird Knepp on Feb. 6, 1954 in Bigler. She survives in West Decatur.
Surviving are one daughter, Michelle Hubler and her husband, James of Morrisdale; three sons, Dale Knepp and his wife, Sandy of Clearfield, Terry Knepp of West Decatur and Kevin Knepp and his wife, Cindy of Philipsburg.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Alisha Williamson, Joshua Knepp, Kelci Knepp, Lindsey Knepp and Amanda Hubler and two step-grandchildren, Nikki Bumbarger and James Rowles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Stover and one brother, Dwaine Knepp.
Funeral services will be private with the Pastor Ryan Graham officiating at the Summit Hill United Methodist Church, Morrisdale. There will not be any public visitation.
