Police Report: Clearfield PSP

An incident of DUI occurred Monday on Harner Road in Pike Township. A 51-year-old Curwensville man was found to be operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and transported to the Clearfield-based state police barracks for blood-alcohol testing. This case is currently pending.
An incident of simple assault and harassment occurred Saturday on Harner Road in Pike Township. A 51-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman, both of Curwensville, engaged in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. The man allegedly showed the woman into a wall, causing her left eye to swell up and bruise. He was charged with simple assault and harassment through the district court. The man was placed in the Clearfield County Jail until his arraignment.
