CLEARFIELD – Heavy rain with potential for flooding continues in PennDOT’s District 2, nine-county area today. District 2 includes Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Juniata, McKean, Mifflin, and Potter counties.
Motorists should not attempt to drive through standing water on roadways. Water may be deeper than it appears.
PennDOT reports the following roadways in District 2 are being affected by heavy rains and flooding.
Clinton County
- Route 2022 (Laurel Run Road/Sugar Run Road) is closed from Plunketts Run Road to Laurel Run Road in Bald Eagle Township. This road is closed due to numerous locations with debris on the roadway from flooding rains. This road could be closed for several days.
Open:
- Route 2019 (Laurel Run Road) has now re-opened between Route 150 (Main Street) and Sugar Run Road in Bald Eagle Township. This road had been closed due to debris on the roadway from flooding rains.
These routes will re-open as soon as weather conditions allow.
Conditions are changing rapidly, and motorists are advised that roadway conditions can change rapidly. Obey all posted signs and be alert for signs and/or personnel at closed roadways.
