Police Report: DuBois PSP

Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident Thursday on Mountain Run Road in Huston Township. Stephen J. Pierce, 23, of Penfield was traveling eastbound when he lost control while negotiating a left-hand curve. His vehicle exited the roadway via the south berm, traveled down an embankment and impacted a tree. Both Pierce and his passenger, Alyssa A. Laird, 20, also of Penfield, sustained minor injuries. Pierce will be cited for the accident. State police were assisted by Bennetts Valley Ambulance and the Penfield Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.
A two-vehicle accident occurred Friday on the Buffalo-Pittsburgh Highway in Snyder Township. Nicole A. Anderson, 21, of Brockway and Melissa A. Smith, 45, also of Brockway were traveling southbound when Smith slowed and stopped for traffic ahead. At that time, Anderson impacted the Smith vehicle. Smith was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Anderson will be cited for the accident. State police were assisted by the Brockway Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Services.
