Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

The investigation is continuing into an incident of theft by unlawful taking or disposition that occurred sometime between 10 p.m. June 20 and 12:30 a.m. June 21 on Cherry Street in Port Matilda. A known person(s) stole a black Nike gym bag with personal items in it. The bag also contained approximately $400 in U.S. Currency in various denominations. Total stolen was approximately $445. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
The investigation is continuing into the theft of money that occurred between June 5 and June 14 on Catty Nine Trail in Huston Township. The victim allowed her granddaughter to stay at her residence for approximately two weeks. Her granddaughter had an 18-year-old man staying there. A 16-year-old neighbor boy was also hanging out at the residence. During that timeframe, the victim had money turn up missing.
