On Monday police checked the welfare of a 48-year-old Brady Street man who threatened to harm himself via email to an out-of-state friend. Police located the man at the South Brady Street residence and he admitted that he made a couple of stupid statements after an argument with his wife but didn’t have any intention of hurting himself.
A 59-year-old Walnut Avenue man reported Monday that his neighbors were coming into his yard while playing Frisbee. Police handled the situation without incident.
A 34-year-old Treasure Lake man reported Tuesday that he received a suspicious call from a man who offered to lower his interest rates on his credit cards. When the Treasure Lake man told him he didn’t have any credit cards, the man hung up.
Treasure Lake Security reported Tuesday that someone damaged a comfort center in Cayman Landing. Damage is estimated at $500.
