Police Report: Curwensville Borough

A suspicious vehicle was reported in Irvin Park. While making the complaint, the caller told police the male operator was acting suspicious. The male was gone upon police arrival.
Juveniles were observed on Baily Road after curfew and notified of the said ordinance. The juveniles were sent home.
Lawrence Township police were assisted with a fight at the Knights Inn.
State police were assisted with an individual with a psychological disorder on Ridge Avenue Extension. As a result, a female was taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center – West for an evaluation. Police were assisted by Curwensville Ambulance.
A Houtzdale woman was arrested for DUI after police received a careless driving complaint.
A Curwensville man was arrested and placed in the Clearfield County Jail after he brandished a knife on several individuals at a local establishment. The man is awaiting arraignment on several charges. Lawrence Township police assisted at the scene.
