Police were dispatched Sunday to the Nicklas Bakery for an open door. Upon arrival police found it to be secured.
On Monday a woman reported that her 26-year-old son who lives on Locust Street hadn’t been seen or heard from. She told police he had been severely injured in a vehicle accident; she was worried due to his injuries. Police located the man and reported back to his family.
Police are investigating an alleged burglary and vandalism incident that occurred at the Kohlhepp’s block plant on DuBois Street.
A three-vehicle accident occurred Monday at the intersection of West Long Avenue and Jared Street. No injuries were reported. One vehicle was towed from the scene. Police were assisted by the DuBois City Fire Department and DuBois Emergency Medical Services.
On Monday a man reported that he and his wife were ran off the roadway while traveling on South State Street. He said the suspect vehicle was driven by his father-in-law who was traveling in the opposite direction.
A DuBois man was arrested Monday for domestic assault after he allegedly struck his brother-in-law and pushed his head through a window at a residence in the 200 block of West Scribner Avenue.
A domestic disturbance occurred Tuesday in the 300 block of West DuBois Avenue between a woman and her estranged husband. No charges were filed.

Police are investigating a theft of a pair of shoes, jewelry and bedding that occurred at an apartment in St. Michaels Terrace on West Long Avenue.
On Tuesday a DuBois man reported he’d been contacted by a loan company. He’s never had a loan with the company, which advised he’d defaulted on one. When police called the company, a person hung up on them. When police called again, the person yelled obscenities and hung up. The incident remains under investigation.
