JEFFERSON COUNTY — A fuel spill caused by a tractor-trailer accident closed down a three-mile stretch of Interstate 80 east early Monday.
The accident occurred around 6 a.m. and the spill happened near the Brookville exit. The eastbound lanes between exits 78 and 81 at Hazen were closed.
A detour is in place and the lanes are expected to re-open this afternoon.
