A 19-year-old DuBois man reported Friday that someone took a box of trading cards valued at $250 that he had in the break room at Wal-Mart.
A Treasure Lake resident reported Friday that a Caucasian male who was in a black car pulled into their driveway and went to the door and knocked. When no one answered, he started backing out of the driveway, stopped the car, got out and took a lawn mower that was in the yard.
Police responded to a Pacific Avenue residence Friday for a reported domestic dispute. A 49-year-old woman was causing a disturbance because her 45-year-old ex-boyfriend was removing his personal property from the home. Police handled the situation without incident.
A Wal-Mart Lost Prevention Officer reported Friday that she observed a Caucasian female conceal goods offered for sale. When confronted, the female denied taking the items and left the store. A Caucasian male later came in and attempted to return the items. The woman who took the items was found to be a 39-year-old Curwensville woman and charges will be filed.
A 28-year-old Reynoldsville woman reported Friday that her wallet was taken while she was at Shop ‘N Save. Upon viewing the security video, it was determined that a 46-year-old employee took the wallet that had been accidently left on a display, while he was leaving work. The man was located at his residence and he returned the wallet. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
A false alarm occurred Saturday at Burger King.
Police checked the welfare of a 44-year-old Warren woman who called 911 from the Fullington bus station. She had requested an ambulance take her to Hershey Medical Center. The woman was examined by emergency personnel and she signed a refusal, stating she felt fine and she just wanted a ride to Hershey. Police handled the situation without incident.
An Old Woods Road man reported Saturday that while walking his dog, a black pug type of dog owned by a White Pine Road resident attacked his own. No injuries were reported.
Wal-Mart employees reported Saturday that a 53-year-old DuBois man took $10.57 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Charges are currently pending.
A male who was in an orange Chevrolet HHR pulled up to a group of males outside of the DuBois Mall and told one of them to get inside his vehicle. The male said no and the driver said his name was Troy, and he just wanted to go for a ride. The male again said no and the driver left the area.
A Treasure Lake resident reported Sunday that someone threw eggs at her house.
A vehicle driven by a 51-year-old DuBois man drifted into the northbound lane on South Brady Street, causing it to collide head-on with a vehicle driven by a 57-year-old DuBois man on Sunday. Both drivers were transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment. Alcohol is a suspected factor in the accident.
A 62-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported Sunday that someone broke into her house and took a vase worth $6,000. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Treasure Lake Security reported Sunday that there was a group of vehicles parked along Hungry Hollow Road, and the occupants were riding dirt bikes on Treasure Lake property. Officers responded to the area and handled the situation without incident.
A 21-year-old Treasure Lake man lost control of his vehicle Sunday on Santa Lucia Road in Treasure Lake, causing him to travel off the road and into a yard. No injuries were reported.
