An incident of harassment occurred June 4 on Schoonover Road in Cooper Township. The victim told police that a 33-year-old Grassflat woman shouted obscene language toward her. Charges were filed against the woman for the same.
An incident of burglary occurred Friday at two residences on Ansonville Road in Jordan Township. Someone gained entry into the residences and removed copper lines to heating systems. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
An incident of simple assault occurred Saturday at an Edward Street residence in Chester Hill Borough. A 47-year-old West Decatur man and the victim engaged in an argument that turned physical when he allegedly struck her in the face with his hand/arm. The victim was then knocked to the ground, and the altercation continued when she got back up. The man allegedly struck and pushed her back to the ground two more times. A 28-year-old West Decatur man also allegedly pushed the victim to the ground once during the altercation. The victim sustained minor injuries to her face and arm areas. The men fled the scene, and the investigation is continuing. Charges are pending at this time.
A known juvenile was operating a utility terrain vehicle on state Route 453 Friday in Madera Borough. The juvenile failed to stop at the intersection with SR 53 when Alysia A. Hughes, 22, of Ramey was traveling northbound. Hughes struck the UTV, as the juvenile attempted to cross the roadway. The juvenile was transported to the Altoona Hospital.
An incident of theft/fraud occurred June 3 on Cross Roads Boulevard in Beccaria Township. The victim had a false check written in her name, and a known woman attempted to cash the check at Clearfield Bank & Trust, Philipsburg. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
An incident of criminal trespass occurred June 1 at the Mcateer Village in Houtzdale Borough. Mcateer Village gave a 28-year-old Osceola Mills woman a trespass notice on May 16. During the incident, she was found at Mcateer Village on June 1, at which time she was given notice again. She departed Mcateer Village but later returned on the same day. The woman has been charged with two counts of criminal trespass through the district court.
