CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors agreed at last night’s meeting to hire Pearce Yost as its code enforcement officer.
Chairman Glenn Johnston said the supervisors interviewed three candidates who were all similarly qualified. However, he said that Yost seemed the best suited for the position.
The supervisors agreed that Yost will be scheduled to work 24 hours per week, with a maximum of 30 hours with supervisors’ approval. The starting wage was set at $10.75 per hour.
Yost replaces Agatha Lauder-English, who resigned the position in April.
