On May 8, 82 students from the Clearfield Area High School Spanish Department traveled on a field trip to Pittsburgh. Spanish Club, Spanish Honor Society members and students of Spanish class’s I-IV, spent the day aboard the Gateway Clipper. Throughout the day, students enjoyed a Spanish-inspired meal, which was followed by dancing, music and a two-hour tour of Pittsburgh’s many historical sights and attractions.
Many of those who went to the Gateway Clipper also participated in a Krispy Kreme doughnut fundraiser. Proceeds from the fundraiser helped cover the costs of charter buses and a portion of the boat ticket. Students would like to thank those who participated to make the field trip a success.
