TYRONE – TyroneHospital honored employees with 10 or more years of service at an annual recognition event held May 15. The event was part of TyroneHospital’s annual celebration of National Hospital Week and National Nurses Week.
The employee celebration included a BBQ lunch and a recognition ceremony.
“We are grateful for the professionalism, experience and special talent that each and every one of our employees brings to TyroneHospital, said Stephen Gildea, the chief executive officer at TyroneHospital. “We applaud their commitment and adaptability in changing times. They are a continuing source of confidence and pride and they are an essential element of our success.”
Lapel pins were awarded to employees in recognition of their years of service. Pins are awarded for service in five year increments. Employees recognized for ten or more years of service are as follows:
50 Years of Service: Laquita Potts of the nursing department.
30 years: Vicki Bosak of the radiology department, and Gail Henry and Anita Jubas of the nursing department.
25 Years: Gina Albright of the laboratory and Kristina Murray of the nursing department.
10 Years: David Brush of the maintenance department, Terry Crouse of the radiology department, Dr. Fidelis Ejianreh of Bellmeade Family Medicine and Toftrees Family Medicine, Michele Montgomery of the laboratory and John Wagner of materials management .
TyroneHospital employs more than 200 individuals who represent a variety of clinical and non-clinical areas as needed to support the operation of the hospital.
