Police arrested Luis Hardmon of Clearfield for terroristic threats and harassment. He allegedly threatened to harm a 32-year-old Clearfield woman. Hardmon was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jerome Nevling and released on $10,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 22.
Police responded to a 911 hang-up call on Spruce Street. Everything was determined to be OK upon arrival.
A domestic disturbance occurred on East Market Street, where a 48-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman engaged in a verbal argument. Alcohol was a factor in the fight.
Police assisted a tractor-trailer driver who was lost on Nichols Street.
Police investigated a minor accident at the intersection of Nichols and Williams streets. A tractor-trailer driver was making a right-hand turn from Nichols Street onto William Street when he struck a railroad crossing signal. Damage was minor to the vehicle, as well as to the signal.
Police received a parking complaint on East Locust Street. A vehicle was parked on private property that was posted no parking. The operator of the vehicle was ticketed for the incident.
