Winifred Twila Latosky, 85, of Bonito Springs, FL and formerly of Houtzdale, died Thursday May 2, 2013 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Judith and David Cuetara in Bonito Springs FL.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Kephart) Winters, born April 17, 1928 in Decatur Township.
She married Wasco Latosky on May 14, 1949 in (Ashland) Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death July 19, 2007.
Mrs. Latosky was of the Christian faith. She was a retired seamstress for the Charles Navasky & Co. in Philipsburg and was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Union.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Minervia Murawski and Beverly Lutz and two brothers, Melvin Winters and Stanley Winters.
Mrs Latosky is survived by a daughter Judith Ann Cuetara and her husband, David of Bonita Springs, FL; a son, Thomas W. Latosky and his wife, Linda of Houtzdale; a brother, Bradley Winters and his wife, Donna of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren Scott Latosky and his wife, Joanna of Houtzdale and Jodi Oppel and her husband, Nicholas of Philipsburg; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 13 at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. W. Dean Krause officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
