Estelle S. Rokoski, 87, DuBois died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 22, 1925, the fourth of seven children of the late Dominic and Stella (Reclite) Skunda.
She was a 1943 graduate of St. Joseph High School.
On May 9, 1949, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, she married Dr. Bernard P. Rokoski. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1992.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in DuBois. She was past president of the DuBois Hospital Auxiliary and the St. Joseph’s Ladies Auxiliary. She worked as a real estate sales agent for Hoffer Realty and Century 21.
She is survived by her two sons, Eric Bernard of DuBois and Brian (Cynthia) Rokoski and their daughter, Jordan of Newport Beach, CA; her daughter, Paula Rock and her son, Justin Rock both of DuBois; two sisters, Genevieve Morris of DuBois and Rosemary Brinton of Lewistown; and her brother, Joseph Skunda of DuBois.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Michael, Albert and Dominic Skunda.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Kresinski as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
