Pauline B. Bell, 88, of Clearfield and formerly of Morrisdale died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield. Born March 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Elmer J. and Florence Hubler Coulter.
Mrs. Bell was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church, Morrisdale.
She attended the old Fairview School. She worked for Tafco in Hyde during World War II, as well as for the former Cigar Plant of Philipsburg and Quaker Market and the Ames Department Store, both of Clearfield.
She was married to Jack Smith Bell on May 9, 1947 in Bigler. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2006.
Mrs. Bell is survived by one daughter, Barbara Diane Jones and her husband, Lawrence of Ginter; one son, Allan Lynn Bell and his wife, Emma of Siler City, NC; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. She was the last member of her generation.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with the Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview United Methodist Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.
