Police Report: DuBois City

An incident of burglary occurred Wednesday in the 300 block of West DuBois Avenue. A male allegedly broke into a garage and stole a baseball bat. While responding police were notified the male was hitting street signs with the bat on Juniata Street. Police took the male into custody and transported him to the Clearfield County Jail. He was charged with burglary and related offenses.
A fight reportedly occurred Wednesday in the DuBois City Park. Upon arrival police questioned several individuals who were in the area. No one had observed a fight.
On Wednesday, police checked the welfare of an individual on 10^th Street. Upon arrival police spoke to the caller who believed they’d heard someone yelling for help from inside a residence. After knocking at the residence, police heard a male who yelled that he couldn’t get up. Police entered the residence and emergency personnel responded to assist the male with his injuries. The male was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
