CLEARFIELD – Roadway milling and paving work will get under way Wednesday in Clinton and Centre counties. The work is a continuation of a milling and paving contract that began in June of 2012. When work completes this June, PennDOT will have improved the roadway surface of seven routes in the two counties and provided area drivers with smoother, safer travel.
Work will include roadway milling and resurfacing, line painting, and miscellaneous construction. Over the next ten days, drivers could encounter crews at the following locations:
- Route 120 in Lock Haven, near Sugar Run Road
- Route 45 in the Millheim area
Drivers will encounter daylight, alternating traffic patterns, with flaggers in the roadway. Motorists need to remain alert for sudden stops and be prepared for short travel delays.
All work is weather and schedule dependent. PennDOT will issues updates on this project as work locations change. Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College is the contractor on this $5 million project.
