A Treasure Lake woman reported Friday that she was stopped for traffic on Maple Avenue when she was rear-ended by a male in a possible Jeep. She told police that he exited his vehicle, looked at the damage and then left the scene. Minor damage and no injuries were reported.

A 46-year-old Treasure Lake woman lost control of her vehicle Friday on Basse Terre Road, causing it to travel through a yard and strike a tree. Police reported severe damage as a result of the accident. The woman was cited for not having insurance and for her registration being expired.
Treasure Lake Security reported Saturday that there was a door that appeared to have been pried open at the Lake View Lodge. Upon arrival officers cleared the building and processed the scene. Nothing appeared to be missing. The investigation is continuing at this time.

Kwik Fill employees reported Saturday that a known man pumped gas and left without paying for it. When officers located the man, he said he’d paid for his gas. The incident is being handled between the parties.
On Saturday, a 17-year-old DuBois boy was observed by Wal-Mart employees attempting to take fishing lures without paying for them. Retail theft charges have been filed against the boy.
On Saturday, a suspicious male was reported at the new hotel being built on Industrial Drive. The man was gone upon police arrival.
A DuBois woman reported Saturday that while traveling on state Route 219, she struck some plastic chairs that had fallen off a pick-up truck, causing severe damage to her vehicle. The driver of the pick-up stopped to pick up the chairs that weren’t damaged and then left the scene.
On Saturday, police responded to a Treasure Lake residence for an altercation between a 23-year-old man and his 20-year-old brother. Upon arrival police learned the older man had left the scene. The younger man told police it started when his older brother wanted to drive from the residence and he wouldn’t let him because he’d been consuming alcohol.
A 21-year-old Reynoldsville woman lost control of her vehicle Sunday on Larkeytown Road, causing it to travel off the roadway and get stuck in a ditch. Both front airbags were deployed and the woman was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for her injuries and a legal blood draw.Â
Police received a report of a stolen vehicle from Philadelphia that was to be at the Pilot Travel Center. The suspect vehicle was stopped, as its driver was leaving Pilot. Police learned that the driver was the owner’s brother and they had a falling out and he took the truck, which belonged to her company. The sister declined to press charges and the man was released.Â
