Ronald C. Delp, 81, of DuBois died Friday, April 19, 2013 at Christ the King Manor. Born April 11, 1932 in Coal Glen, he was the son of the John A. and Rachel M. (Lindemuth) Delp.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.
On April 10, 1955, he married Priscilla “Patty” (Winders) Delp. She survives.
He retired from Shaw Trucking and prior to that, he worked at Brockway Glass Co.
He attended Curllsville Grace Community Church. He enjoyed hunting and collecting hats.
He is survived by four sons, Gary Delp and his wife, Valerie and David Delp and his wife, Lisa, all of Brockway, Kenneth Delp of Butler and Kevin Delp and his wife, Wendy of Reynoldsville; a sister, Emogene Raybuck and her husband, Foster of Reynoldsville; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his three brothers, James Delp, John L. Delp and Jode Delp and three sisters, Margaret Doane, May VanLeer and Ollie Jarrett.
There will be no public visitation.
A private funeral service will be held with Pastor David Nagele officiating.
Burial will be in Temple Cemetery.
