PENN TOWNSHIP – The Clearfield-based state police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred just before 3 p.m. Thursday on the Curwensville – Grampian Highway in Penn Township.
According to the report, a driver lost control of their pickup truck, struck several pieces of private property and caused monetary damage. The driver fled the area traveling southbound on the Curwensville-Grampian Highway at a high rate of speed.
State police described the driver as a Caucasian male who was in his 30’s with dark hair and a roughly shaven face. He was driving a white, extended cab Toyota Tundra. It had a chrome front grill and may have minor front end damage. The pickup is missing its driver’s side, rearview mirror.
