Police Report: Lawrence Township

The investigation is continuing into a possible incident of child abuse reported by Clearfield County Children, Youth and Family Services.
A female left her wallet on the counter of a Clearfield – Woodland Highway business. It was picked up by a known male who left with it.
A hit-and-run accident occurred along state Route 879 near the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. A brown- or bronze-colored pickup truck was passing another vehicle while also attempting to negotiate a curve. The pickup then struck a Chevy Trailblazer operated by a Frenchville woman, at which time its operator failed to stop and continued toward the Shawville area. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
A motorist was assisted at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Police are investigating an incident of harassment that occurred at the Clearfield Middle School.
Individuals were asking customers for money at the Wal-Mart Supercenter but were gone upon police arrival.
Police responded to the Guinea Hill area, where two juveniles had located a deceased deer and drug paraphernalia. The investigation is continuing.
Police located the Fugitive of the Week and he was placed in the Clearfield County Jail.
