CLEARFIELD – Volunteers from the Deer Creek Watershed Authority will be working this weekend in a clean-up effort along Route 879 in the LeContes Mills area. Crews will be working to remove tires from the creek bed and bank area of Deer Creek between the village of LeContes Mills and Deer Creek Road.
This work will take place during daylight hours Saturday and possibly Sunday. Drivers may encounter signs along Route 879 alerting them to clean-up crews in the area. Those crew members could be working close to the roadway.
PennDOT reminds motorists to remain alert as they proceed through this or any work zone.
