Angelo D. Pasquariello, 90, of Clearfield died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield. He was born April 17, 1922, a son of the late Frank and Lydia (Ganiello) Pasquariello.
Mr. Pasquariello retired in 1968 after being employed for 21 years as an electric appliance repairman for Kirsch Maytag Store. During the 1950’s, he managed the Clearfield Bowling Alley.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. He also belonged to the Clearfield Sons of Italy Lodge #189, the United Commercial Travelers and the Clearfield John Lewis Shade American Legion Post #6.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. Pasquariello served with the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine (Toto) Pasquariello, whom he wed April 15, 1944 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield; three children, Linda Cryder and her husband, Jim of Pittsburgh, Edward Pasquariello of Clearfield and Rick D. Pasquariello and his wife, Cindy of State College; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Schiavi; a great-grandson; four sisters, Teresa Pasquariello, Edna McKinney, Viola P. Yacabucci and Margaret Marino and four brothers, Charles, David, Alfred and John Pasquariello.
A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Posts Honor Guard.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice.
