Police responded to check the welfare of someone at Martell Glass; however, police didn’t make contact with the individual.

An incident of burglary and theft occurred on Park Avenue Extension during which an iPod and medications went missing. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Police collected fingerprints for an ongoing criminal matter.
Police conducted an interview for an ongoing investigation into the delivery of controlled substances.
Police are investigating an incident of trespass by motor vehicle and criminal mischief. A car registered to a Woodland man was involved in an accident and abandoned on Old Mill Road.
Suspicious activity was reported in the area of West Front Street. Police searched the area but weren’t able to locate any suspects.
A physical, domestic dispute occurred at the Methadone Clinic.
An incident of criminal mischief/harassment occurred on Carbon Mine Road.
An incident of theft occurred at a state Route 879 business.
A one-vehicle accident occurred on 21st Street during which the operator entered a ditch and struck a tree. The operator who is known by police and a passenger fled on foot. Charges are currently pending.
A possible burglary was reported on River Road. Police contacted the landlord who advised there hadn’t been any forced entry into the residence.
Police assisted other agencies in serving a search warrant at a local motel, which resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cash, a scale and related drug items. Two local people were charged and one Pittsburgh man was detained and questioned. Police are still searching for one Pittsburgh man. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
