An incident of theft occurred sometime Friday or Saturday on Main Street in the area of the Mini Mart in Coalport Borough. Someone removed a roadwork sign, which was orange in color with black lettering and lights. The sign also had a galvanized stand. It’s valued at $750. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
An incident of disorderly conduct occurred Friday on Main Street in Coalport Borough. Five victims told state police that a 20-year-old Coalport man had directed threats of physical contact toward them. The victims and other people also reported that he was driving in a careless manner. As a result, the man was informed to stop contacting the victims and driving carelessly. He failed to stop and was arrested for disorderly conduct. The man was arraigned and released on $10,000 unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
An incident of harassment occurred Friday on Main Street in Coalport Borough. Five victims told state police that a 20-year-old Coalport man had threatened physical contact toward them. They and others also reported he was driving in a careless manner. The man was charged with harassment and careless driving.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime Friday or Saturday in the fields off Shrock Road in Beccaria Township. Someone damaged a Coalport woman’s field. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
An incident of harassment occurred Saturday on the Morrisdale Highway in Morris Township. An argument occurred between two Morrisdale adults at their residence. It turned physical when they began to pull each other’s hair. Citations will be filed against both through the district court.
Minor injuries were reported after an accident that occurred Saturday on Main Street in Bradford Township. Cheryl A. Johnston, 53, of Clearfield was traveling eastbound when she blacked out. Her vehicle then drifted rightward and struck a parked vehicle along the south shoulder. Johnston was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment. State police were assisted by the Bigler-Jackson-Woodland Volunteer Fire Company, Clearfield Emergency Medical Services and fire police.
