CLEARFIELD – Work to replace a pipe on Route 4014 (DuBois-Rockton Road) in Clearfield County is scheduled for Tuesday and a detour will be in place. The work zone is located in Brady Township just south of the border with Sandy Township.
In order to replace the current pipe, Route 4014 will be closed Tuesday, starting at approximately 6 a.m. Work is expected to be complete in one day, however, work progress and weather could necessitate a second day for the project. If a second day of work is needed to replace the pipe, the detour will remain in place overnight.
The official detour will direct westbound Route 4014 motorists to use Route 4014 (Maple Avenue), to Route 219 south and back to Route 4014 (DuBois-Rockton Road). Drivers on Route 4014 eastbound will use the detour in reverse.
Drivers are reminded to follow official detour signs, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
