CLEARFIELD – All nurses are invited to a Nurses’ Day dinner scheduled for May 8 at the St. Charles Café in Clearfield.
Social time will take place from 5:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. A sit-down dinner consisting of salad, stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, dessert and beverages begins at 6 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by the Clearfield High School Show Choir. Prizes will be awarded.

The dinner is being held in recognition of National Nurses Week, which begins on May 6, marked as RN Recognition Day, and ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, founder of nursing as a modern profession.
