LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A Clearfield man and woman are facing drug charges after a narcotics investigation conducted by the Punxsutawney-based state police Vice Unit. The defendants have been identified as William J. Lunsford, 27, and Jennifer L. Kristofits, 22.
State police conducted a search/arrest warrant Wednesday at a Turnpike Avenue residence. As a result of the search, state police found approximately one-half ounce of processed marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. In addition, state police found a loaded KAHR 9mm pistol and U.S. Currency inside the residence.
Lunsford and Kristofits were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland. Lunsford’s bail was set at $50,000 straight for three, different cases for a total of $150,000. Kristofits’ bail was set at $50,000 straight. Both are incarcerated at the Clearfield County Jail.
