Clearfield Track Teams Sweep Tri-Meet

WINGATE — The Clearfield Area High School track teams travelled to Wingate on Tuesday afternoon  to face off with host Bald Eagle Area and Tyrone.  Both the boys and girls swept the day to raise their records to 4-1.

The boys beat BEA 81-69 and defeated Tyrone 99-51. The girls bested BEA 96-53 and Tyrone 85-56.

After competing four times in eight days, both teams will take a much-deserved week off from competition. They will next host a tri-meet with Huntingdon and Penns Valley on Tuesday April 16.
