Frances Elaine Fundack, 77, of Madera went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Altoona Regional Hospital. She was born April 22, 1935 in a Model A Ford while en route to the hospital, a daughter of the late Francis Edward and Virginia Eva (Root) Davis.
On April 21, 1952 in Osceola Mills, she wed John Fundack, who preceded her in death on May 8, 1995. She worked at the former JBC Manufacturing of Madera for 30 years and was a member of the Madera Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and playing Bingo.
She’s survived by five daughters, Nancy Bowman and her husband, Patrick of Morann, Connie Jenkins and her companion, Mike Shawley of Tyrone, Susan Kline and her husband, Lee of Alverton, JoAnne Russell of Madera and Jeannie Skripek and her husband, Gary of Clearfield.
She is survived by nine grandchildren, Michael Bowman and his wife, Desiree, Amy Domanick and her fiancée, Mark Rice, Jason Jenkins and his wife, Stephanie, Jayme Jenkins and his fiancée, Jennie Lee, Christopher Kline, Bryan Kline and his wife, Jennifer, Jessica Davis and her husband, George, John Hawkins and Casey Skripek and and nine great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters, Kathryn Fry and her husband, Neal of St. Petersburg, FL; Marie Yelko and her husband, Joseph of Madera; Jean Yelko and her husband, Arthur of Interlachen, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, James Jenkins III and Craig Allan Skripek, a brother, Harry V. Davis Sr. and a sister, Virginia Davis.
Friends will be received from 3:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Madera.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Alexander Cemetery, Madera.
