Police Report: Lawrence Township

A dog was found on Valley View Drive, and its owners were located on Montgomery Run Road.

A phone scam was reported to police, where an unknown male called an elderly victim. The caller posed as her grandson. He advised that he had been arrested in another country and needed money. The victim didn’t provide any money. All residents are asked to use caution when encountering these types of phone calls. Any suspicious call should be reported to police.
A student was being disorderly and walking away from the Clearfield High School.
A motorist needed assistance in the Mill Road area; however, they were able to resolve the problem prior to police arrival.
An alarm occurred at the Discovery House.
A noise complaint was reported in the Hillsdale area. Police asked the responsible person to keep the noise down.
A civil complaint was reported to police, and the caller was referred to the magistrate’s office.
