Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

An incident of alleged child abuse was reported March 17-18 at a residence in Philipsburg Borough. State police were subsequently contacted by Centre County Children, Youth and Family Services regarding the alleged incident of physical abuse of a 9-year-old Philipsburg boy. After an investigation, state police determined it was unfounded.
An incident of DUI occurred Saturday at the intersection of state Route 53 and New Liberty Road in Decatur Township. After a traffic stop for several violations, a 22-year-old woman was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed through the district court.
