Frances J. Jackson, 80, of Osceola Mills, and formerly of Chester Hill died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg.
She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Iva (Graffius) Clark, born May 15, 1932 in Philipsburg. She married Russel C. Jackson Sr. on June 6, 1953 in Grassflat. He preceded her in death Jan. 14, 1998.
Mrs. Jackson was of the Baptist faith.
She retired from Charles Navasky & Co. in Philipsburg.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Trump.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by three daughters, Nancy J. Hummel and her husband, Dennis R. Sr. of Bigler, Bonnie L. Neal of Osceola Mills and her fiancée, Michael G. Hollis of Shiloh and Mary J. Jackson of Philipsburg; three sons, John D. Clark Sr. and his wife, Marlene of Abbottstown, Russell C. Jackson and his wife, Laureen A. of West Decatur and Donald L. Jackson and his wife, Peggy J. of Philipsburg; a brother, Albert Clark of Munson; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Burial will be at the Shiloh Cemetery in Shiloh.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Thursday at the funeral home.
